ADOLPH P. ETLINGER, of Moulton, Texas, and formerly of Houston, died Thursday, June 3, 2004, in Moulton. He was born in Moulton March 25, 1909,to late Pete Etlinger and Mary Krenek Etlinger. He attended Catholic and public schools there, and also attended Baldwin Business College in Yoakum, Texas. He married Ida Kloesel of Shiner, Texas November 9,1936, and served in the Army Air Force, 362nd Airborne Squadron during World War II. They moved to Houston in 1947 where he worked for Crumpacker Electric Company and Readers Wholesale until retirement in 1974. Mr. Etlinger was a life member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Moulton, and while living in Houston, he was an active member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church, serving as treasurer of the Senior Club there. Survivors include a brother, Leo J. Etlinger of Houston, and a number of nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his wife Ida, parents, Pete and Mary Etlinger, sister, Ann Bratrich, and brother, August (Buster) Etlinger. A Rosary will be held at 9:30 A.M., Monday, June 7, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Moulton, followed by funeral services at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Moulton, and burial in Shiner.
