MOULTON - Adolph Emil Koncaba Sr., 69, of Moulton, died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005.
He was born Feb. 15, 1936, in Moulton, to the late Anton Jr. and Angelina Berckenhoff Koncaba. He worked with sheet metal for Wire Work and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors: wife, Lorene Pilat Koncaba; daughter, Joyce Machacek of Moulton; sons, Adolph Koncaba Jr. and Glen Koncaba, both of Shiner; sisters, Viola Konvicka and Agnes Fojtik, both of Hallettsville, Patricia Faltisek of Rosenberg, and Dolores Dreitner of Weimar; brothers, Edwin Kent of Gilmer, Bill Koncaba of Humble, and George Koncaba Sr. of Hallettsville; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers: Michael Machacek, Geana Machacek, Brian Koncaba, Kristy Koncaba, Grace Koncaba, Emil Machacek, Eugene Pilat, Dennis Pilat.
A rosary was recited at Smith Funeral Home chapel.
Services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Rev. Gabriel Maison officiating.
Burial was at Moulton Catholic Cemetery.
