Albert E. "Bill" Hassell of Flatonia passed away November, 11, 2013 at the age of 88. He was born in Houston January 20, 1925 to Lennes and Errol Hassell. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wilma Hassell; one son, Albert Hassell Jr.; one sister, and one brother. He is survived by one daughter, Pam Cunningham & husband Robert of Houston; one brother, Glenn MacConnell of Houston; two granddaughters, Lisa Harris & husband Brian, and Rachel Williams & husband Andy; and two great-granddaughters, Sophia Williams, and Evelyn Harris. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Flatonia. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 10:00 am at Flatonia Methodist Church in Flatonia.
