Arvil Hart of Flatonia passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010 at the age of 100. Mr. Hart was born October 20, 1909 to the late Ollie B. and Gussie (Ling) Hart in Flatonia, Texas. Mr. Hart was a egg farmer/rancher. Mr. Hart is survived by his step daughter Sue Harris and husband Herman of Gonzales, five grandchildren: Donna Urbanovsky, Kathy Harris, Hope Mills, Curtis Cooper, and Clay Cooper, and nine great grandchildren: Kelly and Kate Urbanovsky, Dylan and Taylor Mills, Mac Ripp, Cole, Caitlin, Cash, and Cara Cooper. Mr. Hart is preceded in death by parents, wife: Mary Elizabeth Taylor Hart, four sisters, and one step son: Charles Cooper Jr. Visitation will begin at 3:00 pm Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Flatonia. Funeral Services will be 3:00 pm Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Flatonia with Rev. Rob Clopton officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
