Carol Ann (Steinhauser) Null, 63, of Flatonia, Texas passed away on Friday, December 25, 2015 at Smithville Regional Hospital in Smithville, Texas. Funeral Mass is under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Flatonia, Texas and will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia, Texas with Father Eddie Winkler officiating. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Flatonia, Texas. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Smith Funeral Home in Flatonia, Texas. Visitation will begin at Noon on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Smith Funeral Home in Flatonia, Texas. Carol was born in Shiner, Texas on December 10, 1952 to Herbert and Annie (Mica) Steinhauser. After High School, Carol received her Bachelors Degree from Saint Edwards University. She married Robert Null on November 15, 1975. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia, Texas. She was the owner of Mica Lumber in Flatonia, Texas and enjoyed going to work every day. She liked to read, listen to music, and visiting different wineries. She liked to cook for family and friends, but she loved spoiling her grandchildren and spending time with her family. Carol is survived by her loving husband of 40 years; Robert Null, one daughter; Allison Charanza and her husband, Shane of Flatonia, Texas, two brothers; Ronnie Steinhauser and his wife, Virginia of Schulenburg, Texas, Lloyd Steinhauser and his wife, Virginia of Sealy, Texas, one sister; Joyce Steinhauser-Gold and her husband, Lawrence of Cypress, Texas, two grandchildren; Annie Elizabeth Charanza, and Zachary Austin Charanza. She was preceded in death by her parents; Herbert and Annie Steinhauser. Pallbearers for Mrs. Null will be; Jeff Gold, Keith Gold, Michael Steinhauser, David Steinhauser, Jason Campion, Justin Campion and Kevin Steinhauser. Honorary Pallbearers will be; Laurie Wilson, Michele Richardson, and Nicole Ponewash.
