Mrs. Clara Haas Bonick of Moulton passed away peacefully Friday, September 24, 2010, at the age of 96. Mrs. Bonick was born January 24, 1914, in Moulton to the late Rudolph A. and Annie Selzer Haas. Clara was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, VFW Auxillary, and Altar Society. Mrs. Bonick is survived by one brother; Daniel Haas and wife Anne of Park Ridge, IL. Three sisters; Anita Novasad of Moulton, Agnes Uttenweiler of Park Ridge, IL., and Natalie Sockwell and husband Earl of Mesquite, Texas. Also surviving Clara are numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Pete Bonick, and two brothers: Robert and Benard Haas Visitation will begin 4:00 pm Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Moulton. Rosary will be recited at 9:30 am Monday, September 27, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Funeral Services will be Monday, September 27, 2010 at 10:00 am, interment will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Moulton, Texas.
