Daniel Joseph Branecky passed away on November 8, 2021 at the age of 68 after battling cancer. Daniel was born June 18, 1953 in Shiner, Texas to Frank and Lillie Koudelka Branecky. He was a lifelong resident of Flatonia, Texas. He met the love of his life Martha Lesikar in 1971. They married October 6, 1973 and were married 48 years. Daniel enjoyed fishing most of all and spending time with his family at his home away from home in Alamo Beach. Daniel never met a stranger and he would always go out of his way to help anyone in need. He loved his family and his best friend, Molly (his dog), and he will be greatly missed. Daniel leaves behind his wife Martha, mother Lillie Branecky, three children; Douglas Branecky and wife Robin of Flatonia, Patricia Branecky of Flatonia and Curtis Branecky and wife Kati of Flatonia. Daniel also leaves behind one granddaughter Kaylee Branecky, one sister Gladys Seifert of Moulton, three brothers; Larry Branecky of Flatonia, Edward Branecky and wife Laurie of Flatonia and Anthony Branecky and wife Gale of Bastrop and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Frank Branecky, brother-in-law Larry Seifert and niece Melissa Seifert. Daniel's wishes were to be cremated.
