Daniel Anton Fojtik Jr., 71, of Moulton, Texas passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015 at his home in Moulton following a bout with Cancer. Daniel is the son of the late Daniel Anton Fojtik Sr. and Helen Stary Fojtik. He was born December 30, 1943 and raised in Moulton, Texas, where he was a lifelong resident. He met his wife, Dorothy Ann Patek, at the local Dairy Treat in Shiner, Texas. They were married June 8th 1963 at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner. He was a very successful salesman for many years and enjoyed meeting new people. His favorite past times were fishing, barbequing and raising cattle. Daniel loved spending time with his family and friends. Survived by his wife of 52 years, Dorothy Ann (Patek) Fojtik and his three sons; Daryl Fojtik and wife Annie of Austin, Duane Fojtik and wife Lisa of Moulton, and David Fojtik of Moulton. He is also survived by five grandchildren; Fallon Fojtik, Dillon Fojtik, Daniel Clawson, Carter Fojtik, Makenna Fojtik, and by his sister Diane Berger and husband Elo of Flatonia. He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Helen Fojtik and son John Fojtik. Pallbearers will be his three sons; Daryl Fojtik, Duane Fojtik, and David Fojtik, his grandsons; Dillon Fojtik, Daniel Clawson, and Carter Fojtik (Honorary), along with Alphonse Fojtik, Jerry Fojtik, Steve Fojtik, and Trey Fishbeck (Honorary). Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Tuesday June 30, 2015 Smith Funeral Home- Moulton, Texas. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, July 1st, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Moulton, Texas. Funeral Mass is under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Moulton, Texas. The mass will be held on Thursday, July 2nd, 2015 at 10:00 am at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Moulton, Texas with Father Gabriel Maison officiating. Interment will follow at the Moulton City Cemetery in Moulton, Texas.
