David Joseph Labay, age 72, of Conroe, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021. David was born August 3, 1948 in El Campo, Texas to Valentine and Leona Kubena Labay. David is survived by his wife, Dolores "Bartos" Labay; his brother Duane Labay of Hallettsville, Texas, his brother Douglas Labay of Hallettsville, Texas, his sister Carol Bludau of Hallettsville, Texas, his sister Veronica Muehlstein of Saint Johns, Texas, his sister Nancy Ross of Dripping Springs, Texas, his sister Linda Veselka of Schulenburg, Texas, his sister Lana Labay of Georgia and his sister Rose Schoenfeld of Austin, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his father Valentine Labay and his mother Leona "Kubena" Labay. A holy rosary for David will be recited Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 516 S Faires St, Flatonia, Texas 78941. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 10:00 AM, 516 S Faires St, Flatonia, Texas 78941. Burial will in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Flatonia, Texas.
