Doris Smith

Mrs. Doris Louise Wagner of Moulton passed away Saturday, June 11, 2011 at the age of 83. She was born April 27, 1928 in Portalas, New Mexico to the late Cecil K. and Essie M. (Singleton) Smith. Mrs. Wagner taught for many years at Fort Bend County I.S.D. She is survived by one son, Michael David Wagner and wife Tammie of Houston; one daughter, Karen Ann Boethel and husband Lynn of Moulton; one brother, James W. Smith of Portales, New Mexico; and two sisters, Cecile Kelly of Lubbock and Lavern Harris of Petaluma, California. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Hugh Wayne Smelley, Melissa Michelle Gips, Michael Wagner and Catline Wagner, and 1 great-grandson, JR Gips. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kenneth Smith and infant daughter Karen Jean Wagner. Visitation will be 10:00 am Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Moulton. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Memorial Oak Cemetery in Houston.
