Dorothy Fojtik

Dorothy Fojtik, 76 of Moulton, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday July, 30, 2020. She was born on September 25, 1943 in Shiner, TX. She was the oldest of 10 children and loved her role as big sister and caretaker. She graduated high school from St. Ludmila Academy in Shiner. She soon met the love of her life, Daniel, while she was working at Dairy Treat in Shiner, TX and the two were married on June 8, 1963. She loved to bake and was known in the area for her delicious pastries. She had a green thumb and loved to work in her yard. She loved spending time with family and friends. She was proceeded in death by her parents Vic & Annie Patek, husband Daniel Fojtik, infant son John, brother Marvin Patek and sister in law Mary Patek. She is survived by sons Daryl Fojtik and wife Annie of Austin, Duane Fojtik and wife Lisa of Moulton and David Fojtik of Moulton, grandchildren Fallon Fojtik, Dillon Fojtik (Stacey Perez), Daniel Clawson III, Carter Fojtik and Makenna Fojtik, great grandchild Lincoln Perez, her siblings Ervin Patek, Ann Meyer (Rob), Victor Patek, Jr. (Karen), Dodie Bannert, Carol Smith, Mike Patek (Rose), Darlene Kresta (Tim), Rosie Ross, sisters in law Earlene Patek & Diane Berger (Elo) and her beloved dog Roxie Lynn. Pallbearers Dillon Fojtik, Daniel Clawson III, Carter Fojtik, Curtis Patek, Scott Bannert, Nicholas Smith, Kevin Patek and Conor Kresta. Honorary pallbearer Marty Patek. Visitation will be Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 3:00 - 8:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home in Moulton, TX. Funeral service will be held Monday August 3, 2020 at 10:00 am at the St. Joseph Catholic Church Resurrection Chapel in Moulton, TX. Interment will be immediately following at the Moulton City Cemetery.
