Dorothy Welfl

Dorothy M. Welfl Dorothy Welfl, 86, of Moulton who died Thursday, December 31, 2015 surrounded by her family at the Yoakum Community Hospital. Mrs. Welfl was born Febuary 3, 1929 in Lavaca County, the daughter of late Ernest and Angeline Krauskopf. She was a homemaker all her life. Mrs. Welfl is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Harvey) Pilat of Moulton; two granddaughters, Krystle (Dwayne) Michna of Moulton and Gwendolyn (James) Herchek of Yoakum. One great- granddaughter, Trista Michna and a great- grand-son Jaxson Herchek. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, her husband August in 1983, a son Daryl in 2008, and a sister Martha. The pallbearers Dwayne Michna, James Herchek, Andrew Gaertner, Marvin Kresta, Donnie Haikenwelder, Gene Provazek, Randy Mican, and Johnny Pohl, and honorary pallbearers are the grand-kids and the great grand-kids. Visitation will start at 5:00 pm Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Smith Funeral Home-Moulton. Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm Monday, January 4, 2016 at Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Father Tim Kosler officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
