Emily Gonzalez

Emily Michelle Gonzalez, born in La Grange, TX on October 17th, 1996 to Elizabeth and Martin Gonzalez. In life, Emily was more than a beautician in training; she was the personification of beauty. Her smile was contagious, her laughter addictive and her love of life apparent in all that she did. So full of life was she, that her organs have restored life's promise for many families and her giving spirit will live on through her organ recipients. Emily has earned her spot among the angels and she will, no doubt, bless the Heavens just as she blessed those that knew her on earth. Emily is survived by her parents: two brothers and their children, Danny Gonzalez & wife Evelyn of Houston, and Isabella, and Jose Martin Gonzalez & wife Josephine of Oklahoma, and Alicia, Annalisa, and Aveli: one sister and her children. Christina Gonzalez & husband Jesus Moran of Oklahoma, and Isaiah, Jesus Jr. and Angelica Moran; several aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. Visitation will begin at 8:00 am Friday, February 14, 2014 at Smith Funeral Home in Flatonia, TX. Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm Friday, February 14, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia, TX. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Eddie Winkler officiating. Burial will follow in the Pitman Cemetery in Muldoon, TX. Pallbearers will be Felipe Reyes, Jose Manual Gonzales, Dennis Lopez, Ricardo M. Rios, Aaron Manzano and Jose Martin Gonzales. Honorary pallbearers will be Martin Gonzalez and Danny Gonzalez.
