Eugene Albrecht

Eugene Joseph Albrecht age 85 of Moulton formally of San Antonio, Texas passed away December 21, 2013. Eugene was born September 11, 1928 in Moulton to the late Joe and Annie Schacherl Albrecht . He worked for the San Antonio Health District as an inspector for 25 plus years and was a member of the St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Antonio. Eugene is preceded in death by his wife Helen on December 31, 1995 and one brother. Survivors: one son Eugene J.(Junior) Albrecht of Moulton and one brother-Leroy Albrecht of Shiner. Visitation will start at 9:00 Thursday, December 26, 2013 at the Smith Funeral Home in Moulton. A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 am Friday, December 27, 2013 followed by Mass at 10:00 am at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Moulton with Father Gabriel Maison officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers-David Katara, Danny Miller, Douglas John, Dennis Schacherl, Bradley Petrek, Bo Petrek, and Richard Schacherl.
