Mr. Eugene Bohumil Krejci of Moulton passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at the age of 89. Mr. Krejci was born May 11, 1921 to the late Emil and Stella (Kolar) Krejci in Moulton, Texas. Mr. Krejci served in the United States Army from January 1940 till July 1947. In 1947 Mr. Krejci was honorably discharged attaining the rank of Captain. Mr. Krejci was a member of American Legion, Knights of Columbus, St. Joseph Catholic Church, and Farm Bureau. On June 12, 1943 Eugene married Martha Agnes Jemelka in Shiner. Mr. Krejci is survived by his wife, two sons: Christopher Krejci wife Beverly of Victoria, and Wayne Krejci wife Beatrice of Moulton, two daughters; Marian Darilek husband Ben of Moulton, and Loretta Marquette husband Richard of Victoria, daughter-in-law Loretta Krejci of Wharton, one brother: Emil James Krejci of West Richland, WA., 19 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. Mr. Krejci is preceded in death by his parents, son: Patrick, two brothers: Raymond and Merwin Krejci, and two grandchildren: Bradley Darilek and Jennifer Marquette. Visitation will be 8:00 am Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Moulton. Rosary will be 6:30 pm Thursday, October 14, 2010 at St Joseph Catholic Church. Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Friday, October 15, 2010 at St Joseph Catholic Church in Moulton, and burial will follow at St Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Moulton. Pallbearers are grandsons: Brian Darilek, Casey Marquette, Kyle Krejci, Kevin Krejci, Keith Krejci, and Wesley Krejci. Altar Servers are great-grandsons: Christopher Herman, Matthew Herman and Dylan Redding. Memorial contributions may be made to donor's choice.
