Evelyn Raab

Evelyn (Brom) Raab, 90, of Moulton, Texas passed away July 24, 2017 at the Shady Oak Nursing Home in Moulton, Texas. She was born June 8, 1927 to Christian and Vlasta (Welfl) Brom in Moulton, Texas. Evelyn was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the St. Joseph Altar Society. She is survived by her sons Allen Raab and wife Rose Ann of Shiner, David Raab and wife Delores of Moulton, Douglas Raab and wife Karen of Moulton, James Raab and Deborah Pattison of Moulton, sisters Joyce Berkovsky of El Campo, Eloise Zissa of Houston, sisters-in-law Georgia Raab of Shiner, Ernestine Brom of Eagle Lake, eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and six step-great-grandchildren. Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, husband Clarence Raab, brothers Eugene Brom and Elvin Brom, and one great-grandson Karter Raab. Visitation is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 26, 2017 with rosary following at 6:30 pm at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10:00 am July 27, 2017 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Maison officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
