Fernando Guerrero age 58 of Flatonia passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016. Fernando was born in Mexico on May 21, 1957 to the late Narciso Guerrero and Raquel Herrera. Fernando is survived by his wife-Maria Elena Guerrero of Flatonia, 1 son-Fernando Guerrero of Houston, 1 daughter-Margarita Guerrero of Austin, 4 brothers-Jose Antonio Guerrero of Mexico, Salvador Guerrero and Jose Guerrero both of Flatonia and Samuel Guerrero of Weimar, 3 sisters-Maria de Lourdes Guerrero of Mexico, Maricela Grifaldo and Raquel Guerrero both of Flatonia. He is preceded in death by 2- sisters-Josefina Guerrero and Esther Garcia. Visitation will start at 10:00 am Friday, February 5, 2016 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Friday, February 5, 2016 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church- Flatonia. Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia at 10:00 Saturday, February 6, 2016 with Father Eddie Winkler officiating. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
