Flora Nieto

Flora L. Nieto, age 95 passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023. Flora was born October 27, 1927 in Moulton to Bonifacio Nieto and Josefa (Galvan) Nieto. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters. Her door was always open to enjoy countless visits from her family and friends. Her hospitality went above and beyond where she was known for never letting you leave her house hungry. Flora is survived by her brothers Joe Nieto and Felipe Nieto, sister-in-law, Lois Nieto and Josephine Nieto and brother-in-law, Steve Martinez, along with numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Flora was preceded in death by; father Bonifacio Nieto and mother Josefa Nieto, by sisters Ester Nieto, Erlinda Perez, Betty Martinez, and Mary Nieto, and brothers Vive, Fred, and Marcelino Nieto. Pallbearers are Manuel Martinez, Adam Nieto, Brian Nieto, Frank Nieto, Henry Nieto, and Thomas Perez.

Visitation for Laura will be on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 3:00pm – 7:00pm at Smith Funeral Home in Moulton, TX.  A rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Moulton followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 AM, officiated by Father Gabriel Maison.  Burial will be in the St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Moulton, TX.
