Florence M. Williams, 100, of Flatonia, TX and formerly of Luling, TX, passed away July 28, 2017 in Flatonia, TX. She was born May 5, 1917 to Peter and Agnes (Lehman) Goertz in Bastrop, TX. Florence is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 49 years Eugene Williams, two brothers Charlie Goertz and Edward Goertz, and sister Elizabeth Matocha. Visitation is scheduled for 12:00pm Tuesday August 1, 2017 with rosary following at 7:00 pm at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Flatonia. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at St. John's Catholic Church in Luling with Father Howard Goertz officiating. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm, August 2, 2017 at the Assumption Cemetery in Austin, TX.
