Frances Lillie Wenske, 93, of Moulton, Texas passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at the Yoakum Nursing and Rehab in Yoakum, Texas. Funeral Mass is under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Moulton, Texas and will be held on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 10:00 am at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Moulton, Texas with Father Gabriel Maison officiating. Interment will follow at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Moulton, Texas. Rosary will be recited at Smith Funeral Home in Moulton, Texas on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 6:30 pm. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am Thursday, September 26 at Smith Funeral Home in Moulton, Texas. Frances was born December 3, 1919 in Moulton, Texas. She was the daughter of William and Magalin (Michalec) Kurtz. She married Bruno Wenske in Sweethome, Texas in 1940. Frances was involved in anything happening in the Community or Church. She was a member of the Catholic Alter Society, VFW, American Legion, Herman Sons, and the Quilting Society. Frances worked with the EMS driving the ambulance for several years, and she also drove people who needed transportation, to their Dr. Appointments Frances is survived by one daughter; Dorothy Mach and her husband, Victor of Cypress, Texas, five grandchildren; Sherri Rairigh and her husband, James of Houston, Texas, Victor Mach III and his wife, Pam of Porter, Texas, Stacy Woodard and her husband, Chris of Dripping Springs, Texas. Bryan Mach and his wife, Courtney of Houston, Texas, and Ryan Mach and his wife, Jan of Houston, Texas:10 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Dorothy Gast and husband David of Navasota, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; William and Magalin Kurtz, her husband; Bruno Wenske (2004), and one daughter; Barbara Spinn.
