Francisca Melchor

Francisca Melchor, age 79 of Waelder, TX, passed away April 6, 2018. She was born October 10, 1938 to Manuel and Feliciana (Martinez) Ramirez. Francisca leaves behind her sons Joe Angel Melchor and wife Maria and Peter Fidele, daughters Erminia Cuevas and husband Ignacio Jr., and Adelia Lindell and husband Jimmy, brothers Herbert Ramirez and Stephen Ramirez, sisters Lupe Mathis, Isabella Ramirez, and Maria Martinez, ten grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Pedro Fidele Melchor Jr., parents, infant son Peter Fidele Melchor II, and numerous brothers, and sisters. Visitation is scheduled for 12:00pm Friday, April 13, 2018 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will take place at 10:00am, Saturday, April 14, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Waelder, Texas with Brother Gordon Johnston officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Flatonia, Texas.
