Francisco Medina

Francisco Medina Age 86, Flatonia, Texas passed away May 16, 2015. Mr Medina was born September 18, 1928 in Ballinger, Texas to the late Josepas Medina and Carmen Gonzales Medina. Frank worked and retired from Smith Farms after 35 years of service. Frank was an Army veteran in the Korean Conflict and was awarded the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and Silver Star. He also served as a sheriff for the city of Flatonia during 1971-1972 and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors: wife-Amy Medina, 4 sons- Frank Medina, Jesse Medina and wife Aurora, Richard Medina, Paul Medina and one daughter Molly Rojas and husband Ray, 3 step sons-Armando Gonzales, Ernesto Gonzales and wife Norma and Narciso Gonzales and wife Elizabeth, 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren 1 sister Maria De Jesus Medina and one sister-in-law Delia Medina. Frank is also preceded in death by John Medina, Mary (Cuca) Medina, Bernie Medina, Josie Medina, Carmen Medina, Maggie Medina, David Medina, Pete Medina, Tony Medina. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, June 20 2015 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Flatonia Texas with Father Eddie Winkler officiating.
