In Memory of George Joe Cinadr March 3, 1920 - June 21, 2017 George Cinadr, 97, of Moulton, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 21, 2017. George was born on March 3, 1920 in Witting to the late Kasper and Mary Cinadr, and was one of 5 children. He was married to Alice Cinadr for 67 years. He is survived by his son, Donald Cinadr of Moulton; daughter, Janelle Thompson and husband Clayton of Houston; two grandchildren, Christian Thompson and wife Kathryn of Houston, and Cheryl Wargetz and husband Nick of Cypress; three great-grandchildren, Penelope Thompson of Houston, and Hayden and Gibson Wargetz of Cypress. George was a devoted husband and father who will be missed. He was a very giving person who always thought of others. He looked forward to spending time with his family and friends. George enjoyed his life on the farm with all his animals. He was passionate about farming and ranching. In the 1970's he was nominated for best farmer in the Moulton area. He also served in the US Air Force during World War II. He was an American Legion Auxiliary member for 71 years. Additionally, he was a Knights of Columbus third degree member. As well, he worked on the committee of ASC for Lavaca County for 9 years. Visitation will be at 11:30 am on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Moulton. A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 am on Friday, June 23, 2017 with a Funeral mass following at 10:00am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
