George Doehring

George Joe Doehring, age 71 of Somerville, Texas passed away on December 1, 2021. He was born on May 22, 1950 to Willie Doehring and Bessie (Rebecek) Doehring Silba. George is survived by daughters: Tabatha (Michael) Alvarado and Miranda (Chris) Vanicek all of Flatonia, Texas; grandchildren: Starla Alvarado, Trista Alvarado, Tadan Alvarado, Adriann Alvarado and Blake Vanicek; Great grandchildren: Ryland Alvarado and Ariel Verastegui; and sister: Ida (Rene) Jimenez. George was preceded in death by his parents, wife Danella Doehring and brother Robert Doehring. Visitation for George will be from 3:00-8:00 PM on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Smith Funeral Home in Flatonia, Texas. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Flatonia, Texas. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Flatonia, Texas. Pallbearers will be Tadan Alvarado, Michael Alvarado, Chris Vanicek, Jason Stryk, Billy Killen, Jon Sampson and Rick Bohlmann.
