George Mica

George E. Mica, 92 of Flatonia, passed away November 20, 2008. He was born August 14, 1916 in Flatonia, Texas to the late Edward and Frances Zimmerhanzel Mica. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia.
He is survived by wife- Gertrude Steinhauser Mica, 2 sons- Douglas Mica and wife Sandra and Donald Mica of Flatonia, 1 daughter in law- Helen Mica of East Bernard, 2 sisters- Helen and Catherine Brunner of Flatonia, 12 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by parents and son James Mica.
Pallbearers: Carl, Brian, Dennis, Gerald, Chris, Todd and Tim Mica.
Visitation begins at 11am November 21, 2008 at Smith Funeral Home-Flatonia. There will be a rosary at 2pm November 22, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia. Service will be 3pm November 22, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia with Rev. Michael Rother officiating with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
