George Pavlas

October 1, 1919 — September 17, 2005

Born October 1, 1919 to the late Willie J. and Albina Darilek Pavlas. He was a retired employee of Alcoa, as well as business owner of Pavlas Tavern in Moulton. George, a veteran of World War II, was also a member of the American Legion and VFW.

Survivors: spouse, Vlasta Barta Pavlas; three daughters, Jenny Keeling and husband Stan, Roswell, GA; Deralle Pohler and husband Michael, Shiner, TX; Nancy Grau and husband John, Friendswood, TX. four grandchildren: Clinton Pohler, Austin, TX; Wendy Blackerby and husband John, Frisco, TX; Ashley Grau, Orlando, FL; Kyle Grau, Friendswood, TX. one great-grandchild: Ella Grace Blackerby. sister, Martha Pavlicek; brother, Willie F. Pavlas.

Preceded in death by: Stepmother, Anna Bohuslav Pavlas;

Rosary will be recited September 19, 7:30 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Moulton and services September 20, 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Reverend John Peters officiating.
