Gertrude Mica

Gertrude Mica, 95, of Flatonia, passed away October 7, 2013. She was born in Flatonia December 10, 1917 to Annie (Brunner) and Otto T. Steinhauser. She is survived by two sons, Donnie Mica, and Doug Mica & wife Sandra all of Flatonia; one daughter in law,Helen Mica of East Bernard;one brother, Otto C. Steinhauser of Flatonia; twelve grandchildren; thirty seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Mica; son, James Mica; daughter in law, Mary Ann Mica; six brothers, and two sisters. Visitation will begin at 4:30 pm October 10th at Smith Funeral Home chapel in Flatonia. Rosary will be Saturday, October 12th, at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia, followed by Funeral services at 10:00 am with Father Eddie Winkler officiating.
