Harold Gary

Harold D. Gary, 70, of Flatonia, passed away November 23, 2008. He was born July 4, 1938 in Cross Plains, Texas to the late Dale and Rozell Johnson Gary. He was a Navy veteran and member of Flatonia Baptist Church.
He is survived by son- Todd Gary and wife Jodie of Bryan, daughter- Mylinda Zapata and husband Robert of San Marcos, 2 brothers- Joe Gary of Streetman and David Gary of Abilene, 3 sisters- Juliene Franke of Cross Plains, Mary Francis Callaway of Denison, and Gena Fleming of Abilene, and 5 grandchildren- Hilary, Weston and Iain Gary, Erin and Noel Zapata.
He is preceded in death by parents and wife Katy on 08/02/07.
Pallbearers: Patrick Caballero, Bobby Joe Sellers, Steven Morrill, Stephen Lev, Bryan Burger, Tim Masek, and Hank Novak.
Visitation begins at 8am November 28, 2008 at Smith Funeral Home-Flatonia. Family will receive friends 3-7pm November 28, 2008 at Smith Funeral Home. Service will be 2pm November 29, 2008 at Flatonia Baptist Church in Flatonia with Rev. Tim Rowell officiating with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
