Harvey Gene Beyer, age 82, of Schulenburg, Texas passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021. Harvey was born July 6, 1938 in Moulton, Texas to Stazie (Rehak) and Charlie Beyer. Harvey is survived by brother Leslie Beyer Sr. (Joyce) of Needville, Texas and sister Charlene Shimek (Werner) of Houston, Texas; nephews Les Beyer Jr., Wayne Shimek (Tracy), and Kenneth Shimek (Nelly); Ila Shimek wife of deceased nephew Ronald; nieces Jennifer Dunn (Steve) and Celeste Stewart (Aubrey); great-nieces Lauren Lueders (David), Madeline Shimek, Sophia Shimek, Kayla Halstead (Mitchell); great-nephews Preston Shimek, Ronald Shimek Jr., Xander Shimek and great grand nephew Hunter Halstead. Harvey was preceded in death by father Charlie Beyer, mother Stazie (Rehak) Beyer, nephew Ronald Shimek and niece Melissa Shimek. A visitation for Harvey will be Wednesday, April 7, 2021 beginning at 8:45 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Moulton, Texas. Following will be a rosary at 9:30 AM and a funeral mass at 10:00 AM, officiated by Father Gabriel Maison. Organist will be Helen Chaloupka. Burial will occur at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Moulton, Texas. Serving as pallbearers are Les Beyer Jr., Steve Dunn, Wellie Harris, Jerry Pavlicek, Wayne Shimek and Aubrey Stewart.
