Isidora Cedillo

Mrs. Isidora Martinez Cedillo of Waelder passed away Friday, May 27, 2011 at the age of 87. She was born in Waelder April 4, 1924 to the late Juan R. and Petra Martinez. Mrs. Cedillo is survived by three daughters, Nieves Maria Valle of Waelder, Epifania Valdez and husband Lupe of Lubbock, and Bessie Bravo and husband Salvador of Houston; four brothers, Mariano Martinez of Waelder, Bonifacio Martinez of Weimar, Cecilio Martinez of Houston and Toribio Perez of Houston; four sisters, Victoria Cobbler of Waelder, Paula Wiggins of Waelder, Gregoria Meza of Houston and Guadalupe Wilkerson of Houston. Mrs. Cedillo is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty three great-grandchildren, and fifteen great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; three husbands, Eutiquio Carmona, Danny Alvarado, and Ricardo Cedillo; one son, Andres Carmona; and six brothers, Santos Martinez, Seferino Martinez, Lazaro Martinez, Jesus Martinez, Rodrigo Martinez and Guadalupe Martinez. Visitation will be 6:00 pm Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Flatonia. Rosary will be 7:00 pm Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Flatonia. Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Monday, May 30, 2011 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Waelder with Father Paul Raaz officiating. Burial will follow in the Waelder Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joel Alexander, Harry Alexander, Salvador Bravo Jr., Billy Waters, Dennis Fojtik, Robert Benavides, Miguel Benavides, and Samuel Reyes.
