Ivan Kocian

Mr. Ivan Kocian of Sugarland, formally of Moulton, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2011 at the age of 88. Ivan was born December 28, 1922 to the late Adolph and Frantiska Kocian in Moulton. He is survived by one brother, Richard Kocian of Mississippi, Brother in law and sister in law, Daniel and Dorothy Gast of Sugarland. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Tillie Gast; and 1 son, Bobby Kocian. Visitation will be 3:00 pm Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Moulton. Rosary will be 9:30 am Monday, April 4, 2011 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Monday, April 4, 2011 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Maison officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
