James King

James Ross King, 25, of Flatonia, passed away April 26, 2009. He was born November 19, 1983 in Weimar, Texas to David C. King, III and Tanya Pickle Janik. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of Muldoon Baptist church and St. John Catholic Church in Luling.
He is survived by his father- David C. King, III and wife Thea of Flatonia, mother- Tanya Janik and husband Michael of Schulenburg, fiancée- Kristen Crowell of Luling, daughter- Kendall, 3 brothers- David C. King, IV of Austin, Joshua N. King of Muldoon, and Mark Reed, Jr. of Japan, 2 sisters- Ivy M. King of Houston and Angela Bal of Spring, grandparents- Hazel Holloway and husband Cecil of Temple and George and Erline Janik of Schulenburg.
He was preceded in death by grandparents- Wilma Jean and Edgar Steinhauser and James Albert Pickle.
Visitation begins at 12 Noon April 28, 2009 at Smith Funeral Home-Flatonia. Services will be 2pm April 29, 2009 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Flatonia with Rev. Tim Rowell officiating with burial to follow at Pitman Cemetery in Muldoon.
