James Langley

Mr. James "Jack" Langley of Cistern passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at the age of 81. He was born in Houston to the late Jack and Mae Langley on June 18, 1929. Mr. Langley is preceded in death by his parents; First wife, Doris Langley; 2 brothers, Charley and Winfred Langley; and 1 sister, Ella Langley. Mr. Langley is survived by his wife Virginia Mae Baca Janca Langley of Cistern; 3 sons, Chris M. Janca and wife Janis of LaGrange, Royce W. Janca and wife Renee of Caldwell and Pat A. Janca and wife Mary of LaGrange; 2 daughters, Judi L. Bayless and husband Scott of LaGrange, and Debbie J. Taylor and husband Kenneth of LaGrange. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6:00 pm Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Flatonia. Rosary will be 9:30 am Friday, May 27, 2011 at St. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Cistern. Funeral Services will be 10:00 am at St. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Cistern with Father Joe Hybner officiating. Burial will follow in the Cistern Catholic Cemetery with Mr. Langley's grandsons serving as pallbearers.
