Stinson of Schulenburg passed away January 25, 2014 at the age of 81. She was born in Randolph, Mississippi January 3, 1933 to Thelton and Myrtis Tutor Singleton. She was a member of the Flatonia Baptist Church, Eastern Star - Yoakum Chapter # 282, and Waelder Chapter # 1023. She is survived by her husband, Bob Stinson of Schulenburg; one son, Nathan Rogers & wife Leanne of Houston; two daughters, Dorcas Rogers of San Antonio, and Kelly Syler & husband Gerry of Houston; four sisters, Marie Singleton of San Antonio, Martha Todd of Plainview, Sandra Brown of Nederland, and Debbie Hirsch of Houston; eight grandchildren, Olivia Syler, Marlowe Syler, Natalie Hughey, Chris Rogers, Brian Rogers, Katelin Rogers, Daryl Mitchell and Jennifer James; three great-grandchildren, Bryce, Ashley, and Ethan Mitchell. She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Tim Rogers; one brother, John Singleton.
