Joyce Marie Luksovsky, born on May 30, 1949, in Moulton, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026, in College Station, Texas. Joyce was a beloved member of her community and a devoted family matriarch. She graduated from Moulton High School, Class of 1969, and went on to build a career that showcased her natural talents as a saleswoman, first at the D and L Variety Store and then assisting her brother at George’s Art and Sign Shop.

Joyce was more than her professional accomplishments; she was a woman deeply dedicated to her loved ones and her interests. She cherished her family and took immense pride in her heritage, home, and the simple joys of life. Joyce was a proud member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the Altar Society for St. Joseph’s Church in Moulton, TX, where her faith guided many of her actions and shaped her character.

Known for her warm spirit, she left behind countless cherished memories filled with beauty, laughter, and the warmth of shared stories and knowledge. A passionate gardener, guardian of cats, and talented baker, Joyce found joy in nurturing life around her. Additionally, she loved to gather with family and friends to play cards and dominoes, always bringing people together with her joyful heart.

Joyce is survived by her son, Joe Luke Luksovsky; her brother, George Leon Kalisek; her daughter-in-law, Elaina Luksovsky; and her sister-in-law, Mary Elrose Kalisek. She is also survived by her precious grandchildren, Phoenix, William, and Charlotte-Joyce Luksovsky, as well as her nieces, Melissa Holub, Gayle Kubenka, and Patricia Klesel, along with numerous grand and great-grand nieces and nephews and dear friend Hope Vornsand.

Her passing leaves a deep void in the lives of all who knew her. Joyce is preceded in death by her father, William “Bill” Joseph Kalisek; her mother, Marcella Elizabeth Svetlik Kalisek; and her brother, Roy William Kalisek.

The legacy of Joyce Marie Luksovsky will endure in the hearts of her family and friends, who will remember her as a hardworking, proud, and devoted woman whose impact will be felt for generations to come. She will forever be loved and missed.

Visitation will take place at Smith Funeral Home in Moulton, Texas, on February 8, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Rosary will be prayed at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Moulton on February 9, 2026, at 9:15 AM, followed by a Mass at 10:00 AM, concluding with services at 11:00 AM.

Joyce's life was a testament to the beauty of simplicity and the joy of connection, and her memory will live on through those who knew and loved her.
