Julia Jasek

Mrs. Julia Theresa Jasek age 88 of Moulton, loving wife, mother, grand-mother and great-grand mother passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2012. Julia was born September 19, 1924 in Moulton to the late Aloysia Firasek Faltysek and Ignac Faltysek. She was member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, KJZT, and the American Legion Auxillary. Her enjoyment in life included spending time with her family, cooking, baking and canning fresh vegetables from her garden. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 61 years George Jasek Sr., one son- Stanley Jasek, 3 brothers-Willie, Louis, and George Faltysek, 1 sister-Albina Stasny. Survivors: 3 sons and daughter in laws-Dennis and wife Frances Jasek of Houston, George Jr. and Diana Jasek of Moulton, and Allen and Susan Jasek of Moulton, 1 daughter and son in law-Jacqueline and Glenn Holub of College Station, 1 daughter in law-Janelle Jasek of Moulton, 8 grand-children, 10 great-grand children. Visitation will start 7:30 am Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Services will be held Monday November 12, 2012 at 10:00 am at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Gabriel Maison officiating. Burial will follow at the Moulton Catholic Cemetery.
