Julian Ribera

Julian Mota Ribera, 87, of Flatonia, TX passed away on March 15, 2009. He was born April 12, 1921 in Muldoon, TX, to the late Vincente and Cesaria Mota Ribera. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He is survived by 6 daughters- Aurelia Perez and husband Merejildo, Maria Rodriguez, Jovita Trejo and husband Leonardo, Pauline Grifaldo and husband Margarito, Francisca Garcia and husband Bardiomann, Luz Marie Guerrero and husband Jose all of Flatonia, 2 sisters- Juanita Martinez of San Antonio and Ruby Hernandez of Fort Worth, 27 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
He is preceeded in death by his parents, wife- Arcadia Alvarado Ribera, 2 sons- John and Vicente Ribera, brother- Juan Ribera, sister- Delores Villanueva, grandson- Joseph Perez, grand daughter- Deborah Rodriguez and son-in-law Richard Rodriguez, Sr..
Pallbearers: Gilbert Perez, Larry Perez, Richard Rodriguez, Jr., Leonardo Trejo, Jr., Manuel Perez and Francisco Trejo.
Visitation will begin 8am March 17, 2009 at Smith Funeral Home-Flatonia. Rosary will be at 7pm March 17, 2009 at Smith Funeral Home in Flatonia. Services will be at 2pm March 18, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia, TX with Rev. Joe Hybner officiating with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
