Kenneth Taylor

Kenneth E. Taylor, 81, went to be with the Lord on January 31, 2021. He passed away at Memorial Herman Hospital in Katy, TX. Ken was born to Kenneth E. Taylor and Hazel (Jensen) Taylor on September 15, 1939 in Nevada, IA. He fell in love and married his wife, Janet Taylor, of 60 years on February 28, 1959. To this union two children were born, one son Steven and one daughter Pamela. Ken was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James. He is survived by wife, Janet; son, Steven; daughter, Pamela; brother, Richard (Joan) Taylor of Rolling Hills WY; niece, Rhonda; granddaughters, Christina (Bryce) Haynes, Kendall (Deven) Ouellette, and Kelsey Taylor; and great granddaughter's Karlyn and Laken Haynes. Ken worked for AT&T 30 years. He made many friends in Minneapolis, Omaha and Houston. After retiring from AT&T he was employed by First Financial in Houston. After 13 ½ years, he retired again and became a small town rancher near Flatonia, TX. Ken loved spending time with family and friends, the outdoors, raising cattle, fishing, hunting and gambling. Kenneth's body was cremated and a celebration of life will be held at the ranch with the immediate family when COVID-19 allows. Memorials can be made in Kenneth's name to a charity of one's choice. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed
