Kitty L. Bridges 91, of Bellville, passed away October 15, 2008. She was born January 29, 1917 to the late George W. and Lucy Parsley Patrick. She was a member of the Elm Grove Baptist Church, Muldoon Ladies Bible Study, and the Homemaker Club of Fayette County.
She is survived by husband Tom Bridges of Muldoon, son Kenneth M. Franz and wife Sherry of Bellville, daughter Joan Surman and husband James C. of Fredonia, 2 grandchildren - James Clayton Surman and Crystal Joia Sawyer and husband David.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth A. Franz-1985, son- Clayton David Franz, 4 brothers- Emzy H., Arthur, Richard, and Buford Patrick, 2 sisters - Jessie R. Merritt and Willie Mae Hendricks.
Pallbearers: David Sawyer, David "Bubba" Franz, Stanley and Ben Hoffpauir.
Visitation begins 5pm October 17, 2008 at Smith Funeral Home Flatonia. Services begin at 10:30am October 18, 2008 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel-Flatonia with Rev. Hoyt Hunnicutt officiating. Graveside services begin at 2pm October 18, 2008 at Katy Magnolia Cemetery in Katy, Texas.
