Leonard Masek

Mr. Leonard Ray Masek, of Flatonia, passed away August 22, 2010, at the age of 57. Leonard was born to the late Adolph H. and Olga Janek Masek in Shiner, September 15, 1952. Leonard was employed by IMCO in Schulenburg, for 28 years as plant manager. Leonard was a loving husband, father, and friend to everyone he met. Leonard is survived by his wife, Sandy Robbins Masek of Flatonia; one son: Aaron Masek and wife Ashley of Flatonia; three brothers: Ronnie Masek of Columbus, Bobby Masek and wife Kathleen of Flatonia, and Terry Masek and wife Sharon of Houston; two sisters: Jeanette Kurtz and husband Calvin of Flatonia, and Nancy Farek and husband Kirby of Flatonia. Also surviving Leonard is his sister in law Becky Maresh and husband Rodney of Moulton, brother in law Mitchell Robbins and wife Theresa of Muldoon; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents and father in law, Bill Robbins. Visitation will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Flatonia. Services will be 10:00 am Thursday, August 26, 2010, at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Flatonia. Burial will follow at the Pitman Cemetery in Muldoon, Texas.
