Leroy Fishbeck

Leroy J. Fishbeck, 73, of Moulton Texas passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2015. Leroy was born December 31, 1941 to Joe and Rosie Fishbeck of Moulton. He graduated from Moulton High School in 1960 and joined the Army. After completing his service in the Army Reserves, Leroy enjoyed farming and ranching with his younger brother Allen for many years. They worked cattle, planted corn and milo in and around the Moulton area. Leroy was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Moulton and served as an usher for many years. He also enjoyed spending time and dancing with his lifelong friend Lucy Gold. Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Rosie Fishbeck, his brother, Allen Fishbeck and niece, Kim Fishbeck Leroy is survived by 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Marvin and Mary Ann Fishbeck of Cypress, Texas; Dennis and Lorene Fishbeck of Moulton. He is also survived by 4 nieces and 6 nephews, 16 great nieces and nephews and 4 great great nieces and nephews. Pallbearers: Michael Fishbeck, Russell Fishbeck, Brian Fishbeck, Dennis Fishbeck Jr, Aaron Gaertner, and James Thomas. Honorary Pallbearers: Michael Gold and Kenneth Rebecek. Visitation will be Monday, September 21, 2015 at 10:30 am at Smith Funeral Home Chapel Moulton. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at the St. Joseph Catholic Church Moulton with Father Gabriel Maison officiating. Burial will follow at St Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
