Lillie Hajek

Lillie Rosie Vanicek age 81 of Flatonia passed away January 12, 2015. Lillie was born on July 19, 1933 in Praha to the late Henry Hajek and Angeline Havrda Hajek. She is a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia. She is preceded in death by her husband-Jerome Vanicek in August of 2000 and 2 brothers and 1 step-grand-daughter-Stacy Michelle Walker Survivors: 1 daughter - Judie Lev and husband Stephen of Flatonia, 1 son-James Vanicek and wife Lillian of Schulenburg, 4 sisters- Annie and Della Bartos, Rosie Koncaba and Emma Welfel all of Flatonia, 2 grand-children-Chris Vanicek and Stephanie Brazill, and 1 great-grand-son-Blake Vanicek. Visitation will began at 5:00 pm Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at the Smith Funeral Home in Flatonia. A rosary will be recited at 1:30 pm Thursday, January 15, 2015 followed by service at 2:00 pm at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Praha with Deacon Jay Vocelka officiating.
