Mr. Lino Esparza Melchor age 88 of Liberty Hill, Texas passed away October 3, 2008 in Austin, Texas. Lino was born September 23, 1920 in Moulton, Texas. He was a custodian for the public school system and member of the Sacred Heart and St. Patrick's Catholic Churches.
He is preceded in death by his parents-Brigado and Cesaria Esparza Melchor, 1 infant daughter-Mary Helen Melchor, 1 infant son-George Melchor, 6 brothers, 4 sisters.
Survivors: wife-Consuelo Melchor of Willis, Texas, 5 sons-Morris Melchor and wife Lisa of Cedar park, Texas, Brigado Melchor and wife Delmy of Houston, Texas, Robert Melchor and wife Blanca of Houston, Texas, Lino Melchor Jr. and wife Sandi of Liberty Hill, Texas, Felipe Melchor of Willis, Texas, 5 daughters-Mary Melchor of Liberty Hill, Texas, Janie Holub and husband Roger of Cedar Park, Texas, Julie Melchor of Willis, Anita Cedillo and husband Francisco of Flatonia, Texas, Molly Erickson and husband Melvin of Willis, 1 sister-Maria Elizondo of Yoakum, Texas, 32 grand-children, 35 great- grand children.
Pallbearers: Christopher Luckey, Jeremy, James, Joe Nicholas Melchor, Cody Erickson, Alfred Garza, Melvin Erickson, and Steven Velasquez, Honorary Pallbearers: Jordan, Jason, Shawn, and Matthew Melchor, Javier Soliz Jr., Mike Garza Jr., Troy Houston and Hunter Melchor.
Visitation starts at 10:00 am Monday, October 6, 2008 at the Smith Funeral Home in Flatonia. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Monday, October 6, 2008 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia. Mass will be held Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 2:00 pm at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia with Rev Tommy Chen officiating. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
