Lorene Krejci

PLANO, TX - Lorene Ann Krejci, 81, of Plano, TX, passed away peacefully at home on June 26, 2012. She was born October 22, 1930 in Moulton, Texas, to the late Anton and Mary Simcik Pulkrabek. Lorene graduated from Baursville Rural High School in 1946. She was a hardworking, very friendly and outgoing person who enjoyed a long career as a baker for Skaggs Albertsons, but especially enjoyed her secondary career as an Avon Lady. Lorene was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend and will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her. She was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church in Plano. Lorene is survived by her four sons and three daughters-in-law Melvin and Helen Krejci of Denton, TX, Douglas and Susie Krejci of Plano, TX, Glenn and Teresa Krejci of Plano, TX and Bruce Krejci of Dallas, TX; her five grandchildren, Thomas, Aaron, Marissa, Bonnie and Ben. Survivors also include her sister, Lillie Pulkrabek Dornak of Moulton, TX and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Anton "Tony" Pulkrabek. Viewing will be at Smith Funeral Home, Friday, June 29 from 4-9pm. A rosary is to be recited at 930 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2012, followed by a funeral mass at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Moulton. Graveside service will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Thomas Krejci, Aaron Krejci, Anthony Pulkrabek, Danny Dornak, Ivan Dornak, Tommy Dornak, and Marvin Dornak The family would like to thank Lorene's caregivers, Teresa Hahn of 10 years, Gladys Sibanda, and Betty Barrett of 9 years for their loving and devoted care.
