Mr. Louis Frank Pavlicek of Moulton passed away Monday, October 4, 2010 at the age of 92. Mr. Pavlicek was born July 20, 1918 to the late Louis and Josephine (Kupcak) Pavlicek in Moulton, Texas. Louis served as Staff Sargent, United States Army in WWII in both the African and Italian Campaigns. Mr. Pavlicek retired from Dow Chemical after 31 years of services in the Railroad Department Plant A. After retiring from Dow he moved back to Moulton and worked for The City of Moulton, St. Joseph Catholic Church and Bingo at the KC Hall for many years. Mr. Pavlicek was a member of the American Legion, VFW, 3rd degree Knights of Columbus Council #3244, 4th Degree Yoakum Assembly #1128, and Dog Club. Mr. Pavlicek is survived by his wife Clara Hobizal Pavlicek, daughter Helen Self, brother Frank Pavlicek, grandsons; Todd Self, and Scott Self ( wife Paula), and great grand-daughter Taylor Self, all of Moulton. Mr. Pavlicek is preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers: Albert, Emil, and Eugene Pavlicek. Visitation will begin 1:00 pm Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Smith Funeral Home in Moulton. Rosary will be 6:30 pm Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Smith Funeral Home in Moulton. Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Thursday, October 7, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Moulton; Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be the Knights of Columbus.
