Louisa Lopez

Louisa M. Lopez, age 76, of Richmond, Texas passed away December 10, 2018 in Richmond, Texas. She was born March 4, 1942 in Waelder, Texas to Isabel and Concepcion Hernandez Melchor. Louisa was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church in Houston, St. Patrick Catholic Church in Waelder, St. James Catholic Church in Gonzales and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond. She is survived by her son Steve Lopez and wife Linda of Houston, daughters Virginia Williams of Houston, Trisha Solis and husband Michael of Sugarland, and Amanda Ramirez and husband Steven of Houston, brothers Eulogio "Lacho" Melchor, Samuel Melchor, Oscar Melchor of Waelder, and Alonzo Melchor of Houston, sisters Polly Vargas of Houston, Narcy Delgado of Defiance, Ohio, Martha Melchor, and Margaret Melchor of Waelder, twelve grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren. Louisa is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jose C. Lopez, son Carlos M. Lopez, three brothers, and one sister.
