MaFelix Rosas, age 47, of Flatonia, Texas passed away on Friday May 15, 2020. MaFelix was born January 7, 1973 in Purisima de Arista, Querétaro, Mexico to Angela Mendez and Raul Sierra. MaFelix is survived by her husband, Silvester G. Rosas; daughters Jeanette Sierra of Kerrville, Texas; Jacky Camacho of Columbus, Texas; Jinna Sierra of Columbus, Texas; and Marily Gonzalez of Columbus, Texas; father Raul Sierra of Columbus, Texas and mother Angela Mendez of Mexico; brothers Raul Sierra of Columbus, Texas, Antonio Sierra of Columbus, Texas, Chris Sierra of Columbus, Texas, Leo Sierra of Columbus, Texas, William Sierra of Columbus, Texas and sister Edith Sierra. MaFelix was joined in death with her son Jovanni. Jovanni Sebastian Rosas, age 11, of Flatonia, Texas passed away on Friday May 15, 2020. Jovanni was born September 2, 2008 in Columbus, Texas to MaFelix and Silvester G. Rosas. Jovanni is survived by; father Silvester G. Rosas of Flatonia, Texas; sisters Jeanette Sierra of Kerrville, Jacky Camacho of Columbus, Texas, Jinna Sierra of Columbus, Texas and Marily Gonzales of Columbus, Texas; grandfather Raul Sierra and grandmother Angela Mendez. A viewing for MaFelix and Jovanni will be held Sunday, May 24, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home, Flatonia, Texas. A graveside service will be held Monday, May 25, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Flatonia, Texas with Father Eddie Winkler officiating.
