Martha Kainer

Martha Eleanor Kainer, age 98, of Flatonia, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021. She was born February 21, 1923 in Plum, Texas to Frances Sulik Belota and Joe Belotas Sr. Martha was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters and American Legion Auxiliary. Martha is survived by sons Ricky Kainer of Flatonia, Texas; and Clint Kainer (Felicia) of St. John, Texas; brother Bob Belota of Plum, Texas; sister Lillian Berger of Houston, Texas; grandchildren Tiffany Kainer, Scarlett Peccon, Kindra Kainer and Kurt Kainer; and six great-grandchildren. Martha was preceded in death by her husband Leon Kainer; mother Frances Sulik Belota, father Joe Belota Sr; brothers Edwin Belota and Joe Belota; sisters Eleanora Rainosek and Annie Vasek; daughter-in-law-Terry Kainer A visitation for Martha will be held Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 4:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home, Flatonia, Texas with a rosary starting at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Friday, March 26, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Flatonia, Texas with Rev. Msgr. John C. Peters officiating. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Flatonia, Texas. Serving as pallbearers are Michael Peccon, Weston Osborne, Kurt Kainer and Leo Berger, Eric Belota and Sandy Meyerson.
