Mary Gutierrez;

Mary Alice Eureste, age 64 of Waelder passed away September 23, 2008. She was born April 23, 1944 in Waelder. Mary Alice was a homemaker and member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
She is survived by mother Manuela Gutierrez of Dallas, 4 daughters-Angela Eureste and JoAnn Serafin of Waelder, Norma Saucedo and husband Jimmy of Buda, Julie A. Huerta and husband Tony of Austin, a brother Rupert Gutierrez of Houston, a sister Mary Helen Mendoza of Dallas, and 7 grandchildren-Ana Alicia Huerta, Martin Serafin Jr., Mario Serafin, Monica Alicia Velazquez, Jonathan Saucedo, Joseph Saucedo, and Jessica Saucedo, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father Ruben Gutierrez, and husband Joe Z. Eureste in 1992.
Visitation begins at 7:30 a.m. September 26, 2008 at Smith Funeral Home, in Flatonia. There will be a rosary at 7:00 p.m. September 26, 2008 at Smith Funeral Home, in Flatonia. Service will be at 10:00 a.m. September 27, 2008 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Waelder with burial to follow at Waelder Catholic Cemetery with Rev. Paul Raaz officiating.
