Mary Hirsch

Mary P. Hirsch of Moulton passed away January 8, 2014 at the age of 88. She was born in Gonzales to Emilia Zella and Ludwig Petras April 3, 1925. She was a member of Post # 392 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Ladies Auxiliary Shiner Post 6209, and St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She is survived by her son Gregory Hirsch of Moulton. She is preceded in death by her parents, Emilia and Ludwig Petras; husband, Alfred "Freddy" Hirsch (April 14, 2011); one brother, August Petras. Visitation will begin at 7:00 am Friday, January 10, 2014 at Smith Funeral Home in Moulton, with Rosary to follow at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, January 11, 2014 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Moulton with Msgr. John Peters officiating.
